I built something to make job hunting suck less
No more lost links, mystery resumes, or “did I already apply here?” moments.
Hey friends—
Since stepping out on my own, I’ve been building a few small tools to help solve real-world headaches. One of them is for anyone in the trenches of a job hunt (or thinking about one).
It’s called Job Tracker, and it’s a simple way to keep track of all the jobs you’re applying to.
Here’s what it does:
• Save job URLs (from LinkedIn, Indeed, company sites—wherever)
• It captures the job description and even takes a screenshot
• You can attach resumes and cover letters
• Add notes, follow-ups, and track your application status
It’s like a job-hunt command center—but way simpler than a spreadsheet or Notion setup.
I built it because I got tired of digging through emails, trying to remember which version of my resume I sent, or wondering if I already applied to that company last week at 2am.
This is the tool I wish I had during past job hunts—so now it exists. And I’m giving it away for free.
If you’re interested in trying it out early or want updates when it launches, reply to this email or sign up here.
Talk soon,
Matt
